Our residential air conditioner for European market, KG series, received “Good Design Award 2017” organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.

The Good Design Award is an award selected by comprehensive evaluation including ease of use based on the users’ point of view, development concepts, functionality, adoption of new technologies, etc. in addition to high designability.

KG series which received the award this time is aimed at a design that harmonizes with paintings and photographs decorated on the wall based on simple horizontal and vertical lines. In addition, the four corners of the indoor unit are gently rounded to relax the whole impression, making it a highly original design.

In order to realize this, we have achieved the highest A+++ in European energy rank by installing our own high-density heat exchanger while making thin form with a depth of 215mm.

We strive to improve the brand image from design aspect by capturing market needs by collecting and analyzing various opinions and information by design investigation and reference displays of image models at exhibitions and creating spatial harmonization and highly original design.
