Enhancing energy saving performance substantially by our original technology

Energy saving performance was substantially enhanced by "New large size indoor unit" adopting the state-of-the-art technology developed for the products for Japanese market such as "High density multipath heat exchanger" and "High performance outdoor unit" adopting "High efficiency DC rotary compressor" and "Inverter control" developed by our original energy saving technology.

With regard to the large size wall-mounted type, the energy time consumption efficiency SEER: 6.35/SCOP:4.15 in 8.0kW class and as for the multi air conditioning system for buildings "AIRSTAGE™" J-III series, the energy efficiency EER: 3.88/COP:4.41 in 15.5kW 3-phase class and EER:3.71/COP:4.23 in 15.5kW single phase class were achieved, all of which accomplished industry's top (*1) energy saving performance in European market.

Besides, in each series of ceiling cassette type and ducted type, the energy saving performance was substantially enhanced.

1) Large size ceiling cassette type (5.2kW – 13.3kW 6 models)

New indoor unit enhancing the comfort performance and flexibility of wind direction control

[Enhancement of comfort performance]

Realized airflow and current for 360°all directions by new ventilation design. As cooling and heating current is provided for all directions, efficient air conditioning is available for every corner of a room solving the problem of uneven temperature and enhancing the comfort performance.

2) Large size ducted type (5.2kW – 13.3kW 6 models)

New indoor units enhancing flexibility of installation of indoor units

• Realized powerful airflow by adopting "New high static pressure air blower". As the length of air pipe to connect to indoor units and the number of air outlets were increased compared with conventional models, the flexibility of installation of indoor units was enhanced.
• The ease of installation was improved by incorporating drain pump in the indoor unit.
• At the initial setting, the volume of air sent to air pipe can be adjusted with only one button of indoor unit. As the troublesome air volume adjustment can be made only by the remote controller, the time for installation can be shortened and the installation quality can be enhanced.

3) Multi type air conditioner for buildings "AIRSTAGE™" (Small capacity type) J-III series (Outdoor unit: 12.1kW – 15.5kW 6 models)

Enhancing flexibility of installation of indoor units by increasing the height difference between outdoor unit and indoor units and the connection capacity of indoor units

• The maximum height difference between outdoor unit and indoor units was increased from conventional 30m to 50m and also, the connection capacity of indoor units was enhanced from conventional 130% to 150%. On the basis of indoor unit quantity, maximum 9 units to 13 units in the class of 15.5kW can be connected. By this, the installation with one outdoor unit adapting to the buildings common in Europe, such as small scale office building with many small rooms, has become possible,
• Such popular functions as automatic address setting function and miss installation checking function are adopted continuously in the outdoor unit for the shortening of the installation time and enhancement of installation quality.

4) Compact slim ducted type for "AIRSTAGE™" (5.2kW – 13.3kW 6 models)

Indoor unit of compact design realizing the depth of 45cm by optimizing the internal structure

• A ducted type indoor unit of compact design of 45cm in depth was developed to be able to install the unit in narrow space such as downward ceiling or upper closet.
• Air volume switching can be made in 6 stages and low noise operation of 21dB is realized at the minimum air volume of "Low noise".

5) Large size wall-mounted type (8.0kW – 9.4kW 2 models)

Strengthened the function corresponding to the business

• When a certain temperature is always required in such as server room, the rise of temperature is prevented by cooling operation even in the low outdoor temperature of －20°
• When multiple indoor units are installed in the same room, the interlocking operation by multiple units has become possible by transmitting and receiving information between the indoor units.
  1. "Rotation" operation: Alternative operation is made to prevent unevenness of operation time of each indoor unit
  2. "Backup" operation: When one unit stopped due to error, another unit starts to operate.
  3. "Support"operation: When one unit operates for certain time but does not reach the set temperature, another indoor unit starts to operate.
• A transmitting function to inform abnormality when the unit makes emergency stop or does not reach the set temperature during operation is equipped. The abnormality can be sensed by the connection with external equipment.
