Maintaining strong dust collecting and deodorizing power without replacing filter

New release of air purifier ACSQ360D for China

Our company will release air purifier ”ACSQ360D” adopting newly developed ”PUREVER ENGINE™” having both our original dust collecting function and deodorizing function and maintaining strong dust collecting and deodorizing power without replacing filter for Chinese market from the end of September.

In recent years, the consciousness to prevent air pollution such as PM 2.5 (Particulate Matter) is heightening in China. Also, the demand for improving indoor air environment by reducing chemical substance contained in the building material is increasing as the new housing market is growing along with the urbanization. Under such circumstances, the market scale of air purifiers in FY2013 was 2.4 million sets and the strong growth is predicted in the future. On the other hand, the dust collection system using filter needs replacement of filter to maintain the dust colleting power and the reduction of replacement cost is problem.

To solve such problem, our company developed our original technology ”PUREVER ENGINE” combining ”electric dust collecting unit” and ”automatic reproduction deodorizing unit” in one unit structure. The ”electric dust collecting unit” consists of ion emission part and dust collection part, and the inhaled dusts and dirts are charged at the ion emission part and absorbed at the dust collection part by the electrostatic power. The ”automatic reproduction deodorizing unit” strongly absorbs and decomposes odor component by our original metal oxidation catalyst honeycomb filter. By this technology, the invisible dusts containing PM2.5 in the room are strongly collected by the ”electric dust collecting unit” and at the same time, such chemical substance as formaldehyde and odor component contained in the building material are absorbed and decomposed by the ”automatic reproduction deodorizing unit” and then, purified air can be sent to the room.

Furthermore, by adopting electric dust collecting system and our original deodorizing system, it was realized to maintain the dust collecting and deodorizing performance without replacing filter.

In the new product, the air is purified quietly and quickly even in large living room by the air current produced by adopting low noise turbo fan and 4 direction suction and 3 direction discharge structure in addition to the ”PUREVER ENGINE”. Besides, the front operation panel is arranged for users to see necessary information easily such as 4 color LED display to indicate air pollution, numeric indication of humidity level, warning lamp for cleaning dust collecting unit along with the design with high interior tone and easy-to-use consideration.

Prior to the release, Fujitsu General Orient International Electronics Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., our sales subsidiary in China, held a new product rollout in Shanghai on September 11 and will promote the positive sales activity with the aim to sell 300,000 sets in FY2016 through the sales routes of mass sales stores, department stores, electric home appliance stores and the Internet sales.
