My job is designing the chassis of air conditioners, creating a prototype and evaluating if it works as designed. The first prototype does not always work well. After an evaluation, however, we can make an improvement based on the analysis of the problem we found.

In designing, there is no absolute best design. The best solution at the time may be the best for the situation at that time, but as the world turns, the problems can be changed any time, the old solution may not be the best anymore. I believed keeping up with the world is important to any designers in any fields. Besides, trying to cope with new problems is also challenging for me.

I've got an opportunity to work and live in Japan (Company's headquarter) for some time, experience different cultures and meet people with different ways of thinking. I think it is a good idea to step out of the comfort zone once in a while. That is one of the ways to gain whole new experience and make life fascinating.
