Realizing highest level energy-saving performance and industry's smallest class(*1) outdoor unit New release of multi air conditioning system for housing “AIRSTAGE®” J-IIS series for China (3 outdoor unit models/33 indoor unit models)

Our company will release inverter-type multi air conditioning system “AIRSTAGE^®” J-IIS series (11.2/14.0/15.1kW) realizing China Energy Label Class 1^(*2) energy-saving performance and industry's smallest class^(*1) outdoor unit for the housing air conditioner market in China from January, 2014.

In the urban area of China, high-rise condominiums are main housing for medium and wealthy households, and in the air conditioner market, the demand for multi air conditioners in the 11kW – 15kW (6 rooms – 8 rooms) class controlling the temperature of individual rooms with one outdoor unit is growing by more than 20% per year in the past 3 years. Also, as the energy-saving regulations are becoming strict, high energy-saving performance is required for multi air conditioners for housing.

On the other hand, in case of condominiums, as the space to install outdoor unit is limited, the downsizing of outdoor unit is demanded.

To cope with such needs, in the new series of outdoor units, China Energy Label Class 1^(*2) energy-saving performance and the industry's smallest class^(*1) outdoor unit downsizing by 25%^(*3) compared with conventional models were realized by adopting energy-saving devices such as “Small-size high-efficiency compressor” and “High-efficiency heat exchanger” and the optimization of structure such as changing conventional twin fan designing to single fan designing.

Also, duct-type indoor unit enhancing low-noise operation by reviewing the structure and new wired remote controller with good operationability were newly added to the lineup.

By introducing the “AIRSTAGE^®” J-IIS series to the market, we will aim to further expand the air conditioner business in China.

   1. Energy-saving designing adopting small-size high-efficiency compressor, high-efficiency heat exchanger and V-PAM inverter.
   2. Enabling simple installation even in limited space or veranda by adopting small-size single fan.
2. Low-profile duct type indoor unit adopting 6-step air volume switching function
   1. Realizing quiet operation of 20dB at low-noise mode by newly adopting 6-step volume switching function.
   2. Low-profile designing (198mm in height) easy to install even in narrow space under the roof.
   3. Air flowing auto louver to change wind direction automatically available on option.
3. New wired remote controller enhancing visibility and operationability
