Donation for the earthquake disaster occurred in New Zealand

We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to the sufferers of the earthquake disaster occurred in the Canterbury district, New Zealand and sincerely hope for the earliest possible restoration of the suffered area.

Fujitsu General Group decided to donate NZ$100,000 (about 6 million yen) as relief money through FUJITSU GENERAL NEW ZEALAND LIMITED for the sympathy to the sufferers of the disaster and support for the restoration.

By the proposal of Mr. Stephen Fleming, spokesman for our company in New Zealand, a charitable cricket game will be held in Wellington on March 13 for the purpose of reconstruction assistance.

Our company will be sponsoring this charitable game, and our company’s relief money will be donated to the New Zealand government (Restoration fund name: “The Christchurch Earthquake Appeal”) together with all proceeds relating to the game.
