Completing delivery of multi air conditioning system for buildings “AIRSTAGE®” to “World Trade Center Changzhou” (China)

Fujitsu General Central Air-conditioner (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. (100% owned by FG, hereinafter “FGCA”) completed the supply and installation of multi air conditioning system for buildings “AIRSTAGE®” (166 systems consisting of 496 outdoor units and 2,142 indoor units) to “World Trade Center Changzhou” which made the grand opening on September 29.

China is the world biggest market of multi air conditioning system for buildings (132,000 sets, about 33% of the world market in 2008) and its scale is further expanding in recent years as the construction of buildings is progressing at high speed because of the development of urban area. The public capital investment measures in the scale of 4 trillion yuen (about 55 trillion yen) for 2 years which the Chinese government put forward last year as economic stimulus measure is also boosting the market expansion of multi air conditioning system for buildings.
Along with the improving quality of life supported by high economic growth, the demand for the comfort and energy-saving performance of air conditioners due to environmental issues and electricity shortage is increasingly heightening.

Our company has been developing inverter air conditioners excelling in energy-saving performance and comfort from small size to large size and is selling in the Chinese market as well. FGCA has been developing and expanding the business as production base of multi air conditioning system for buildings for FG group and as sales base for Chinese market.
Under such circumstances, FGCA acquired order for the supply and installation of multi air conditioning system for buildings “AIRSTAGE®” to “World Trade Center Changzhou” in August last year as its energy-saving performance, past sales record and high quality installation and after-sale service setup with quick follow-up were appreciated, and the delivery and installation were completed on September 28 this year.
The “AIRSTAGE®” we supplied this time can make adjustment of room temperature for all of about 450 rooms of the building individually and provide comfortable room environment. Also, by adopting the centralized control system, collective centralized control of all outdoor units and indoor units became available, which can optimize the air conditioning of the whole building and reduce the consumption of electricity.

FG group will aim to further expand business in the future by offering energy-saving and comfortable room environment in the market of multi air conditioning system for buildings in China.

Outline of multi air conditioning system for buildings

Multi air conditioning system for buildings is a large-scale air conditioner for buildings which operates multiple indoor units with one outdoor unit mainly used for commercial facility, office buildings, hotels and so on.
In case of ordinary multi air conditioners, indoor units are connected with one outdoor unit with separate individual pipes, but in our multi air conditioning system for buildings, one piping is connected with one outdoor unit which is branched out to multiple individual indoor units, so that the installation work of piping can be efficiently made, and besides, it excels in energy-saving performance as individual operation is possible for each indoor unit only for the rooms which require air conditioning.
Our company started the business of multi air conditioning system for buildings in 1999.
