We have developed 7 new models (11.2kW type, 14kW type and 17.5kW type class) with full model changes, by implementing, downsizing and weight reduction of the indoor unit, which has resulted in a great improvement of installation workability and excellent cost performance for overseas markets. We began selling, in December, to European, Middle Eastern and Australian markets sequentially.
This duct type air conditioner is totally concealed in the ceiling. It offers comfortable airflow into each room.
The duct type air conditioner provides invisible comfort and excellent interior design.
Moreover, the demand of each area in the world such as European, Middle Eastern and Australian markets etc. has increased steadily due mainly to the building of offices and large-scale houses which have many rooms because it creates uniform temperature throughout each room.(About 120% compared with our shipping quantity of previous year)
The demand for easy installation corresponding to the housing situation of each area and low-cost product with high quality functions has increased markedly.
Although new full changed models are in a large capacity class such as 11.2kW/14kW/17.5kW, these models have realized the industry's top class compact size(*1)and light weight(*2)of 53% in volume and 67% in weight compared with conventional model and have improved the ease of installation greatly by optimizing the design of the resinous fan, resinous fan case and heat exchanger.
Moreover, these models have been designed with excellent cost performance by decreasing the number of parts.
These models have improved convenience due to the installation of various selectable functions such as wired remote controller with our original multi-function LCD display included thermo sensor, weekly timer and set back timer etc. and indoor unit thermo sensor or remote sensor (optional).
In addition, the airflow in the indoor unit has become smooth by cutting off the corner part of the indoor unit and fan casing, and the airflow efficiency has improved by adopting the resinous fan and fan casing. This has resulted in a notable reduction of noise in the operation of the air conditioner.

New, fully changed models have realized the compact size(*1)(volume of indoor unit: 53% compared with conventional model) and the light weight(*2)(weight of indoor unit: 67% compared with conventional model) by optimum design of the resinous fan, resinous fan casing and the heat exchanger, and have improved the installation workability greatly for all that these are large capacity models such as 11.2kW/14kW/17.5kW.
In addition, these models have realized the excellent cost performance design by the cost reduction by decreasing the number of parts.
* For example, the indoor unit has been designed within the range 75cm × 55cm of grille hole dimension because existing air intake grille hole on the ceiling is generally used in replacing duct type air conditioner in Australia.(Refer to the following installation example in Australia)
1) Realizing compact volume indoor unit of 53% compared with conventional model
- Downsizing the fan by changing from metal fan to resinous fan improved airflow efficiency
(Fan diameter 94% compared with conventional 17.5kW class model) - Downsizing indoor unit by changing from diagonal position to vertical position in the indoor unit by the improvement of the thickness of heat exchanger with same volume.
2) Realizing the light weight indoor unit of 67% compared with conventional model
- Reduction in weight and cost by aforementioned decreasing of the number of parts
- Weight lightening by the resinous fan and fan casing

Improving the convenience of our original multi-function LCD wired remote controller
1) Detecting the room temperature with the built-in thermo sensor
The built-in thermo sensor previously available only in the indoor unit has now been installed in the multi-function LCD wired remote controller, and the room temperature around the wired remote controller has been detected.
Moreover, it is now possible to detect the room temperatures in up to 2 rooms by installing the optional remote sensor.
2) Convenient timer functions
- The air conditioner's operation setting has been possible to set for user's life for a week by weekly timer function.
Moreover, it is possible to confirm the operation time easily by adopting schedule bar indication method on LCD display.
- The set back timer function can change the temperature in the schedule set up by weekly timer function.
The temperature can be set at user's convenience and the energy saving operation can be offered.
3) Other functions
- Operation control up to 16 units by one remote controller
- Energy saving function by which operates at higher temperature than set-up temperature for cooling period, and at lower temperature than set-up temperature for heating period.
- Child lock function can prevent accidental use.
Other features
1) Realizing low noise operation by our original casing form (Decreasing 9dB compared with conventional 17kW model at low fan operation)
The turbulent flow in the indoor unit has been decreased and the internal airflow pressure has been uniformed by cutting off the corner part of the indoor unit and fan casing.
This shape, the resin fan, and the resin fan casing have improved the efficiency of the airflow conforming to flow rate, and realized decreasing noise at the same time.

2) Simple remote controller (option)
It is possible to connect with Simple remote controller (option) with the basic function by which offers only easier operation.

3) Correspondence to network equipment
- Output terminal for fresh air:
It is possible to connect with the fan for the air intake. - Output terminal for electric heater:
It is possible to connect with the electric heater. - External input/output terminal:
The ON/OFF operation instruction of the air conditioner can be received and the ON/OFF operation information can be sent to the external equipment.
