Realizing industry's top class(*1) energy-saving performance New release of home use 2-room multi inverter air conditioner for Europe

Our company will release home use 2-room multi inverter type air conditioner (3 indoor unit models and 1 outdoor unit model) realizing industry's top class(*1) energy-saving performance for European market in the middle of April.

The world-wide demand for room air conditioners is expected to grow steadily in the mid and long term. Above all, Europe is a big market which accounts for more than 10% of the world demand, and interest in environmental issue, especially energy conservation, is high and the improvement in energy-saving performance is required for air conditioners.

Also, in Europe, it is predicted that the demand for multi air conditioners will further increase as there is restriction in quantity of outdoor units to be installed and attention must be paid to the quantity, place and size of installation so as not to spoil the sight of towns.

In order to meet such needs, our company developed inverter type multi air conditioner which allows air conditioning for 2 rooms independently at 4.0kW to expand the lineup of multi air conditioners excelling in energy-saving performance. The home use 2-room multi inverter air conditioner we developed this time realized industry's top class(*1) energy-saving performance COP3.67 (cooling operation) / 4.27 (heating operation). Besides, in spite of multi type, the outdoor unit is designed in compact size, same size as outdoor unit of single type of equal capacity, so as to save installation space. Furthermore, by adopting “10°C heat” function as energy-saving function, heating operation is made possible even at outside temperature –15°C as well as power consumption is reduced by save operation when nobody is at home.

We will make further efforts for expansion of air conditioner business by positively tackling the global environmental issues.
